The nose is fruity, aromatic, relatively intense and finely gourmand. It reveals notes of crushed Boysenberry and slight notes of cassis combined with fine hints of wild red berries, raspberry jam, slight hints of caramelized oak, a discreet hint of licorice and a very discreet hint of flowers. The mouth is fruity, suave, elegant, well-balanced, nicely round and offers tension, a good definition, a nice volume and a nice fat. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of raspberry jam combined with slight notes of redcurrants, cherry, blackberry as well as a touch of cassis, slight notes of minerality, slight toasted notes and mocha. Good length.
