The wine needs to be decanted, it’s a bit tight, it presents some spice and a relatively fine, powerful grain. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suppleness, a good definition, a certain gourmandise, a tangy frame and offers a certain power and precision at the same time. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, small blue fruits and small notes of small roasted-elegant fruits associated with touches of star anise, sweet blond tobacco as well as fine toasted hints and a subtle floral hint in the background.
