The nose is fruity, flowery and offers complexity as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of pulpy Boysen berry, crushed blue fruits, small notes of small black berries associated with small touches of candied strawberry, cornflower, fresh lily as well as hints of cocoa, caramelization, toasted almond, a discreet hint of thyme flowers and mild tobacco. The palate is mineral and offers juiciness, a small freshness, a certain harmony, elegance, energy and a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of small acidulous/juicy blue fruits, bright blackberry, small notes of pulpy cassis associated with a touch of raspberry jam, cherry blossom, mild tobacco as well as fine hints of cardamom, hazelnut, thyme flowers/sense of the place and a very discreet hint of black tea. Good length. An imperceptible hint of hot black olive and caramelization on the finish/persistence.
