The nose is aromatic and offers elegance, a certain gourmandize as well as deepness. It reveals notes of bright cassis, black cherry, small notes of black plum associated with small touches of violet, cornflower, camphor as well as fine hints of chocolate, caramelization, black tea, discreet hints of vanilla pod and an imperceptible hint of pepper. The palate is beautifully gourmand, elegant, racy and offers a beautiful pulpy/juicy fruit, precision, a good structure as well as a certain straightness and ampleness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, quite ripe Boysen berry, small notes of pulpy violet plum, crushed wild strawberry and small notes of pulpy violet plum, crushed wild strawberry associated with a touch of fresh raspberry, cocoa, tonka bean as well as hints of black tea, caramelization, a discreet hint of black olive, tobacco and an imperceptible hint of sense of the place (local biotope). Tannins are precise and structuring.
