Tenuta Cavalier Pepe – Nestor 2013, Greco di Tufo

Tenuta Cavalier Pepe – Nestor 2013, Greco di Tufo

Lovely aromatic nose, fruity, precise, finely velvety and offering good aromatic definition and elegance. It reveals notes of mirabelle plum, kumquat and small notes of small ripe yellow fruits, associated with touches of almost beeswax, as well as fine hints of almost sense of the place in the background (local biotop). The palate is well-built, fruity, elegant, delicate, precise, juicy, gourmand and offers a certain suppleness, gourmandise and purity. It also presents a lovely, elegant, finely-driven, juicy fatness and a fine, enveloping side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of kumquat, juicy/pulpy mirabelle plum and small notes of mandarin, almost orange, as well as fine hints of toasted, almond and a subtle hint of honey. Good length. A fine hint of almost mango and hazelnut. Nice freshness and minerality. A precise wine with a subtle hint of almost butter in the background.
