Tenuta Cavalier Pepe – Bianco di Bellona 2024 – Irpinia Coda di Volpe

(Mise début Mars – Coda di Volpe) The nose is fruity and offers gourmandise, a little creaminess and good definition. There are notes of quenette, pulpy brugnon and small notes of small fruits, almost pineapple, quince, even banana and a subtle hint of smoke. The palate is well-built, fruity, fresh, tangy and offers gourmandise, a mineral, tangy frame, a pretty floral/sappy fatness and a honeysuckle side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of lime blossom, pulpy yellow peach and small notes of juicy mirabelle plum, combined with touches of honeysuckle, as well as fine floral hints and a subtle hint of citron.
