Tenuta Bricco San Giorgio – Caranti 2019 – Nizza DOCG

The nose is fresh, mineral, and racy. It reveals notes of bright plum, bright morello cherry, and small notes of blackcurrant associated with slight touches of violet, graphite and fine hints of blond tobacco. The palate is nicely juicy, fresh, mineral and offers brightness of fruit, a certain purity of fruit, energy as well as a very discretely tight grain. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of violet, bright blackcurrant, and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of morello cherry, small bright blue fruits as well as slight hints of star anise, lilac, cardamom as well as a very discreet almost chocolate hint (in the background). The tannins are supple and well-built. Good length.
