The nose is fruity and offers a small power, a fine richness as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of wild raspberry associated with slight hints of laurel / garrigue as well as discreet hints of gray pepper and a hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine juiciness, a fine suavity, a beautiful precision as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy blueberry and crushed raspberry combined with small / slight touches of cherry, laurel / black olive as well as a discreet hint of garrigue, tobacco / tea and spices. Tannins are well-built and (very) slightly firm. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of almond on the finish. There is an imperceptible touch of vanilla on the persistence. Fine chews on the persistence.
