Tedeschi – Capitel San Rocco 021 – Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore

Beautiful, elegant and precise nose that offers complexity. It reveals notes of pulpy red plum, fig and small notes of dried blackberry associated with delicate touches of zan, spices as well as a hint of dried morello cherry and fine and almost chocolatey hints. The palate is beautifully built, fresh, elegant, delicate and offers accuracy, brightness as well as a certain intensity and precision. Full of freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous cassis, pomegranate and small notes of fresh cassis associated with a touch of bright/juicy redcurrant as well as fine hints of cornflower and a hint of blond tobacco. Tannins are sapid, juicy and elegant. Good length. Fine floral hints (in the background) and a subtle firmness on the finish/persistence.
