Tascante – Contrada Sciaranuova 2017, VV

Beautiful, fresh and intense nose. It offers nice definition, deepness as well as a nice elegant, intense and fine grain. There are notes of small wild purple plum and small pulpy wild red berries associated with fine hints of sage, balsamic, volcanic rock as well as a very discreet hint of pepper and a subtle almost eucalyptus hint. The palate is mineral and offers juiciness, a nice pulpiness, gourmandize as well as an acidulous frame. A beautiful small airy richness, full of control. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy cherry and small notes of bright Quetsche plum associated with a touch of jammy raspberry as well as hints of balsamic, nutmeg and discreet hints of vanilla. Tannins are supple and elegant. Very beautiful elegance and finesse.
