Tascante – Contrada Pianodario 2019

Beautiful, elegant nose, delicate in its relative concentration and which offers purity, a certain deepness as well as a discreet touch of elegant austerity. There are notes of Bigarreau cherry, pulpy purple plum and small notes of roasted small fruits associated with touches of star anise, fine hints of blond tobacco, balsamic as well as a discreet hint of olive tree and cardamom. The palate is fruity, elegant, precise and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, minerality, nice purity, aromatic precision as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright bigarreau cherry and pulpy/juicy raspberry associated with touches of star anise, toasted almond as well as a subtle hint of balsamic, black olive and a hint of sense of the place (local biotop) on the finish. Beautiful work on the good bitterness on the finish/persistence. Nice freshness.
