Tappero Merlo – Kin 2019 – Erbaluce di Caluso Docg

The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers a certain richness in precision, discreetly contained and a chewy side. There are notes of quince, ripe small fruits associated with slight touches of fleshy physalis as well as slight hints almost apricot, apricot blossom and discreet hints of fennel and fresh aromatic herbs. The mouth is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, precision, suppleness, fat and a fine unctuosity. In the mouth it expresses notes of ripe lemon, fresh peach, crunchy apple and small notes of juicy/ fresh mirabelle plum associated with touches of flowers, apple tree, toasted almond as well as subtle hints almost apricot, almost fresh butter and sage/ savory in the background and very discreet saline hints in the background. Beautiful acidulous finish, crispy on the taste buds. Good length. Beautiful aciduly on the finish/ persistence.
