The nose is fruity, gourmande, elegant, racy and offers richness as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of fleshy strawberry, fleshy/juicy cassis and small notes of blueberry associated with fine touches of liquorice, black cherry, very fine hints of sens of the place, caramelization as well as an imperceptible hint of pepper/tea and rosemary. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, minerality, tension, freshness as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy black cherry, fleshy/juicy raspberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy cassis associated with fine touches of juicy/fleshy blueberry as well as fine hints of liquorice, toasted/caramelization, a hint of toasted hazelnut, very discreet hints of dark chocolate and sens of the place/black olive. Tannins are elegant.
