Talamonti Trabocchetto Pecorino Abruzzo Superiore 2021

The nose is fresh, fruity, crisp and powerful, with a nice floral edge. There are notes of fresh lily of the valley, lilac and, more lightly, lime zest, combined with hints of fresh citrus fruit, as well as fine hints of fresh apricot and fresh apple, and a discreet hint of verbena in the background. The palate is fruity, juicy, acidic, well defined, smooth, harmonious, with a certain finesse and a fine crunch. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crisp apple, fresh lychee and more lightly lily of the valley combined with honeysuckle/varietal touches as well as fine points of apricot and fresh mango, fine saline nuances in the background, nice acidic finish and positive bitterness. Good length.
