The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is a little closed and requires aeration. It then expresses notes of fresh strawberry, red cherry, raspberry, cranberries, associated with notes of dried strawberry, blackcurrant, dried violet, a touch of bergamot tea, licorice, nutmeg, pepper white and undergrowth in the background. On the palate, the attack is a little reserved. In the mid-palate, the wine expresses notes of tangy red fruits (raspberry, crunchy strawberry, red cherry), associated with notes of blackcurrant, blueberry, violet, peony, dried rose, as well as some spiciness in the background (cumin, cloves). The tannins are firm, a little dry, balanced by a salivating acidity on the finish. Good persistence, on fruit and a fine spiciness.
