The nose is a bit tight. It reveals notes of cassis, crushed boysenberry and small notes of blue berries associated with slight / discreet hints of raspberry, flowers, Zan, spices, chocolate and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, suavity, a slight acidulous frame, a racy minerality as well as roundness and gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crushed cassis and small notes of crushed raspberry combined with small touches of liquorice / Zan, chocolate, crushed blackberry as well as small hints of juicy / fleshy blueberry, sweet spices, nutmeg and caramelization. Tannins are well-built. There is an imperceptible touch of almond on the aftertaste.
