Stéphane Aladame – Les Vignes Derrière 2015 – Montagny 1er Cru

The nose is aromatic and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of quince and slight notes of yellow peach associated with a hint of fresh mirabelle as well as a very discreet woody hint and very discreet hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, structured and offers a beautiful acid frame, minerality, a beautiful fat, a certain straightness, a good definition as well as a beautiful silky matter and slightly unctuous. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of quince, crushed yellow peach/yellow fruits and slight hints of mirabelle associated with discreet hints of citrus (lemon, mandarin) as well as slight/imperceptible toasted hints/butter and brioche. Good length.
