Stella Solare 2023 – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose is nicely led, precise, gastronomic and offers a fine intensity, a certain depth, complexity, a nice little richness as well as a very fine richness. There are notes of kumquat, quince, small fleshy/pulpy fruits and more slightly small yellow fruits associated with touches of beeswax, almond and a subtle almost verbena hint. The palate is nicely led, fruity, gourmet and offers a tangy frame, tension, accuracy, a nice roundness, suavity, texture, a tangy frame, a fine salinity, pulpiness as well as a certain richness. Balance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy yellow peach, quince and small notes of bright kumquat associated with fine almost apricot touches, a subtle hint of sweet mandarin as well as discreet hints of beeswax, verbena, almost buttery and toasted-fresh. Good length. Lovely sapidity and delicacy. A lovely almost tannic hint (in the background) in its structure and in its aromatics.
