Spadafora dei Principi – Grillo 2016 – IGT Terre Siciliane

The nose offers a small power. It reveals notes of almond and small notes of juicy citrus, leather associated with small touches of juicy peach as well as an imperceptible hint of hey/dry grass. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral/juicy frame, a small freshness as well as a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, quince and small notes of fleshy William pear associated with small touches of fleshy mirabelle, bee wax and a very discreet hint of hay, flowers and butter (in the backgroud). A fine hint of varietal bitternes in the background on the finish.
