The nose offers richness, a fine grain, elegant and a certain power. It reveals notes of dry wild strawberry, dry redcurrant, small notes of dry blackberry associated with a touch of cassis, humus, tobacco, a discreet hint of pepper and underwood. The palate is elegant and offers gourmandize, an acidulous frame, fullness, freshness as well as minerality, a small tension, richness and gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quite ripe wild cassis, quite ripe strawberry, small notes of raspberry associated with a touch of Zante Corinth, tonka bean as well as a hint of mild tobacco and humus/underwood. A discreet hint of smoke and chocolate on the finish/persistence.
