Socré – Roncaglie 2015 – Barbaresco

The nose is elegant, fruity and offers a small power. It reveals notes of fleshy strawberry, fleshy blackberry and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of violet, iris as well as fine hints of fleshy/juicy plum, nutmeg and cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous, gourmandize, a good definition as well as a small aerial side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, fleshy wild raspberry and small notes of violet associated with a touch of fleshy/juicy violet plum as well as a subtle hint of bigarreau cherry, tonka bean and sweet spices. Good length. A persistence on very discreet hint of cocoa.
