The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is generous and open. It expresses tangy fruity notes (red cherry, cranberries, crushed raspberry, blackcurrant), combined with a fragrant floral bouquet (lilac, violet, peony). After aeration, we find delicate aromas of spices (licorice, grated nutmeg, ground white pepper), a racy mineral framework (limestone, dry stone, earth), as well as a gourmet touch of roasting (toasted hazelnut, sweet coffee) and chocolate, as well as rosemary and dried mint in the background. The palate offers density, as well as an airy side, a powdery texture and fine, enveloping, sapid and cocoa-like tannins. The attack is fragrant, but delicate, with notes of dried red cherry, fresh red cherry, cranberries, fresh raspberry and dried raspberry, combined with subtle floral notes (violet, lilac) and a touch of roasting (coffee, toasted almond, dark chocolate). A delicate herbaceous touch (dried rosemary, dried wild mint) returns on the persistence, with a good bitterness of cocoa. The acidity is refreshing and salivating. Beautiful sapid, tangy and fruity persistence.
