The wine has a bright pale ruby color. The nose is fragrant and purely fruity. It expresses notes of tart red fruits: raspberry, crunchy strawberry, red currant, a touch of cranberries, as well as fresh bigarreau cherry and dried red cherry. We also find a delicate touch of pepper (in the background), cornflower and cut rose stem. The palate is enveloping, silky, with a subtle and pleasant bitterness. It expresses the flavors of tangy bigarreau cherry, raspberry, tangy strawberry, red currants and cranberries, combined with a floral touch (cornflower, rose) and slightly peppery hint (white pepper in the background). The tannins are melted and have a very fine grain. The finish is quite persistent, with pure fruit and a very fine spicy touch. The acidity is fresh, but rather supple and pleasant.
