Simon Remy Vigneron, Nez-ssance 2021 – Bourgueil

Simon Remy Vigneron, Nez-ssance 2021 – Bourgueil

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is reserved at first, but after aeration it offers concentration, juiciness and some complexity. It expresses notes of wild strawberry, red cherry, wild blackberry, crushed blueberry, raspberry, cherry jam, as well as mint syrup, fresh peony, violet, lilac, cut rosemary and blackcurrant leaf in the background. The palate is chiseled and offers freshness, precision and gourmandise. The tannins are young and tight, a little dry, but quite fine. We find the flavors of fresh strawberry, red cherry, red currant, raspberry, associated with notes of violet, peony and rose petals, as well as a hint of mint syrup and licorice in the background. Beautiful acidity and a slight bitterness on the finish, associated with the juiciness of the fruits.
