The nose is structured, powerful and offers intensity as well as a certain finesse. It reveals notes of black cherry, cassis and small notes of wild berries associated with small touches of spices, Cuben pepper, ripe bell pepper, nutmeg, fresh leather as well as discreet / imperceptible hints of dry local forest. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a small finesse, a good definition, a slight acidulous frame, suavity, tension, a small linear side, a slight freshness, a discreet gourmandise, a slight unctuosity, a good structure as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe / crushed redcurrants, juicy cassis and small notes of blackberry associated with slight touches of liquorice, vanilla as well as discreet hints of ripe bell pepper (in the background), discreet toasted hints and a very discreet hint of dark chocolate on the finish. Slight chews on the finish. There are small hints of almond on the persistence.
