(82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc) The nose is fine, powerful and racy. It reveals notes of cassis, boysenberry and fine notes of jammy red fruit combined with spicy notes and a hint of blond tobacco, Ceylon tea, black cherry (discreet) and chocolate (discreet). The palate is fruity, elegant, silky, voluminous, fleshy, well-balanced and well structured. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, raspberry and red berries associated with fine notes of cassis, wild berries as well as fine notes of dark chocolate in the background. Tannins are fine, slightly dry and currently a bit young. Good length and persistence.
