The nose is fresh, aromatic and offers a certain intensity, finesse and a small complexity. It reveals notes of kumquat, bright tangerine and small notes of pink grapefruit associated with touches of quenette, lemon blossom, slight hints of starfruit/exotic fruits, a discreet hint of beeswax/oxidative, anise and a very discreet hint of fresh sage. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, acidity, a certain tension, precision and a fine power. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of lemon, orangette and small notes of citrus zest associated with a touch of caviar lemon, tangy green apple as well as slight hints of oxidation/cider, a subtle hint rosemary and anise. Good length and aromatic/sapid persistence. A subtle hint of toasted/grilled almond and a nice acidity on the finish/persistence.
