The wine shows a bright ruby purple colour. The nose is restrained, needs air to open up, later revealing floral nuances of violets and peonies, notes of pulpy red and black cherries, a hint of black pepper and a touch of fresh tobacco in the echo. The palate offers a lot of juiciness, elevated, crisp acidity, bold, drying tannins and a certain ferrous minerality. Notes of crunchy red and black fruits interlace with earthy nuances, notes of roots and thorn. Grippy finish. Very tight and austere at the moment. Needs time.
