The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, slightly tight and offers finesse, a slight mineral frame, a slight juiciness, a good structure, elegance, roundness, a very slight freshness as well as a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy / juicy cassis and small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with slight touches of tonka bean, Ceylon tea as well as discreet hints of spices and a very discreet vanilla hint on the finish. Tannins are well-built and very slightly firm. There is a very discreet touch of vanilla on the finish. Good length. There is an imperceptible touch of minerality almost saline on the finish.
