The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The first nose expresses herbaceous and sappy notes (pine sap, blackcurrant leaf), complemented by a hint of liquorice and nutmeg. We also find aromas of tangy fruits (red cherry, raspberry, crunchy strawberry), as well as a toasted (toasted wood, toasted hazelnut) and peppery touch. The palate is juicy and fruity, with distinct notes of tangy fruits on the attack (red cherry, raspberry, wild strawberry, blueberry). They are then complemented by slightly less pronounced herbaceous touches (pine sap, blackcurrant leaf), by a hint of liquorice, pepper and toast. The finish is gourmet and salivating, with fresh acidity and notes of juicy red fruits. Tannins are melted and fine, slightly chocolatey. Good persistence in the mouth.
