On the nose, an expression of freshness and a certain delicate richness, intensity in control, tight berry, complexity as well as juiciness of fruit. There are notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, bright cassis and slightly juicy Bigarreau cherry combined with hints of violet, lily, ripe/juicy red berries, hints of camphor, sweet spice, racy minerality as well as discreet hints of Cuban pepper, tea and a subtle hint of toasted almond. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, elegance, complexity, good definition, a certain gourmandize, a juicy/mineral frame, acidity, precision and a certain tension. The wine express the notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy Bigarreau cherry and more lightly violet notes combined with hints of pulpy wild raspberry, small ripe red currants as well as hints of lily, black tea, racy minerality as well as fine hints of chocolate, caramelization, discrete hints of toasted hazelnut and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg (in the background). Good persistence.
