In the Seghesio portfolio, Cortina is the most delicate of the zinfandel. It’s fruit-forward, with a pure expression of crushed red and black fruits. Its full-bodied frame is wide and spacious. The tannins are soft and integrated with just a slightly drying aspect. The most structure is found on the mid-palate, but rapidly leaves the highlight to the saucy, fresh, juiciness.
