The nose is aromatic and powerful. It reveals notes of balsamic and leather associated with fine notes of blackberry, currant, redcurrant as well as hints of spice and violets. The palate is fruity, sleek, well-balanced, relatively fat and offers suavity and juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of redcurrant, fresh red cherry and fine notes of blueberry associated with a slight touch of cassis, fine notes of strawberry as well as fine touches of caramelized oak / cream brulée. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
