Scaramuzzo – Violabianca 2023 – Casavecchia Terre del Volturno

The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant, aromatic and offers a fine, fresh balsamic side. There are notes of pulpy violet plum, crushed cassis and small notes of small fairly ripe (but fresh) red fruits, associated with fine floral touches, lilac, cubeb pepper, a discreet hint of fresh tobacco and pepper. The palate is nicely fruity, fresh, elegant, racy and offers straightness, freshness, a fine airy creaminess, density, a certain richness and a small, finely tight tannic frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of wild cassis, violet and small notes of fresh lily, small juicy/fresh fruits, combined with touches of sense of the place (local biotop), mocha, as well as fine hints of tobacco, toasted almond, fine hints of chocolate, discreet spices notes and a subtle hint of black olive. Lovely little chewiness and gourmandise. Delicacy and a bewitching side.
