The nose is elegant, mineral and offers deepness, a certain concentration as well as a certain power of the grain. There are notes of wild raspberry, small ripe berries and small notes of flowers associated with touches of smoke as well as a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is nicely mineral, nicely readable/easy to access, very precise and offers freshness, juiciness as well as a certain enveloping fat/suavity (and that supports the fruit). On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, wild raspberry and small notes of blackcurrant associated with touches of flowers as well as subtle toasted hints, toasted almond and a subtle almost sappy hint. Beautiful definition and tangy finish. Tannins are nicely mellow.
