The wine has a medium-intensity ruby color. The nose is dense, fleshy, rich, fruity, even warm. It expresses notes of ripe fruit (morello cherry, black plum, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, raspberry coulis), cherry with kirsch, as well as mint chocolate, roasted coriander seeds, liquorice, black pepper, vanilla (even cinnamon), crushed mint leaf, as well as coffee, toasted almond, cocoa and tobacco in the background. After aeration, we also find a mineral structure, as well as the aroma of macerated red cherry which becomes more intense. The palate is full-bodied, enveloping, juicy and fruity, with a distinct spicy and roasted touch. It expresses flavors of crushed morello cherry, blackberry, wild strawberry, fresh raspberry, roasted raspberry, as well as kirsch cherry, roasted coriander seeds, vanilla, white pepper, cocoa, coffee and toasted almond. There are also notes of dried flowers and roasted aromatic herbs. The tannins are soft, with chew, well-structured and finely tightened. The acidity is supple, but refreshing. The finish is persistent and expresses flavors of macerated cherry, a mineral framework (dry stone) and roasted bouquet garni. A fleshy, full-bodied, but harmonious wine.
