The nose is fruity, tight, elegant, powerful and quite deep. It reveals notes of cassis, rose, crushed blueberry and Cuben / black pepper combined with slight touches of crushed strawberry and discreet toasted touches, cedar wood, black olive, grove and spice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built, tight, elegant, a bit aerial and offers gourmandise, tension as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of blackberry, crushed blueberry, redcurrants and Cuben pepper associated with small notes of cassis jam, wild strawberry, sweet spices and wood. Tannins are fine, a bit tight, young and very slightly dry. (2025+)
