The nose is fruity and relatively incisive. It reveals notes of cherry in kirsch, candied red fruit and slight notes of Zan, Quetsche plum associated with small notes of blackberry and black tea. The palate is fruity, gourmand, dynamic, well-balanced, relatively fat and offers a small acid frame in the background. In the mouth this Porto expresses notes of candied cherries, candied raspberry and slight notes of blackberry jam associated with a touch of blueberry and licorice. Good length and persistence. The aftertaste is relatively powerful and offers a touch of alcohol.
