Saïkouk  2016 – Médoc

The nose is fruity and offers a very fine concentration (in the background). It reveals notes of wild blackberry, raspberry and small notes of wild strawberry, small ripe wild fruits associated with discreet hints of Sichuan pepper, flowers, toasted/toasted bread as well as an imperceptible hint of black tea (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers suavity, a good definition, a fine juicy frame as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy raspberry and small notes of small berries associated with touches of flowers, cherry as well as discreet hints of  liquorice, mild tobacco and chocolate. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
