The nose is fine, powerful, aromatic, concentrated and offers freshness. It reveals notes of Zante currants and cooked apples combined with a touch of mirabelle, heather as well as a touch of spices, malted barley and caramel / toffee. The palate is aromatic, fresh, well-balanced, fruity and offers fat, unctuosity as well as a pretty fresh frame. In the mouth this Whisky expresses nice notes of Zante currants, candied apricots and honey combined with hints of barley, wood, lychee, toasted oak and a hint of vanilla. Good length. There is a hint of salinity on the finish / persistence.
