Round Pond Estate – Proprietary White Wine 2017 – Rutherford, Napa Valley

The nose is fruity and offers a slight intensity as well as a small fleshiness. It reveals notes of vine peach, brugnon and small notes of pear associated with small touches of fresh citrus as well as a discreet hint of minerality. The palate is juicy, fruity, precise, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a good structure, a small freshness, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of vine peach, quenette and small notes of fleshy pear associated with touches of juicy citrus (tangerine, lemon) and an imperceptible touch of almond on the aftertaste. Good length.
