Rötiberg Kellerei Klettgau Pinot Gris 2022 – Schaffhausen

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color with very slight golden highlights. The nose expresses the fleshiness of exotic fruits (fresh pineapple, a touch of passion fruit and yellow melon) and stone fruits (apricot, yellow peach), a sweet hint of lemon cream, as well as a fragrant floral bouquet (orange blossom, apricot blossom, acacia), a lactic touch of lemon yogurt and a note of lemon zest. The palate offers precision, good bitterness on attack and a pleasant roundness, refreshed by medium acidity. It expresses notes of stone fruits (yellow peach, yellow plum, apricot), lemon peel, bitter orange, grapefruit, as well as exotic fruits (pineapple, a hint of mango), lemon yogurt a hint of toast at the end of the palate, associated with a delicate saline minerality.
