Rötiberg Kellerei Klettgau Chardonnay 2022 – Schaffhausen

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose expresses the aromas of fleshy and juicy fruits (yellow peach, ripe apricot, yellow plum), fresh yellow apple, lemon, a gourmand and slightly sweet minty touch (reminiscent of mint syrup), as well as a hint of apricot yogurt and a very delicate touch of vanilla. The palate is fruity and juicy, with roundness and gourmandise on the attack (flavors of yellow peach, pineapple, apricot and melon) and a mid-palate of freshness and acidity of citrus fruits (lemon zest , lemon juice, a hint of grapefruit, but without bitterness). The finish offers a round and pleasant lactic side, a fine minerality (wet clay, limestone), as well as a supple, but pleasant acidity.
