Romanelli – Fonte Perna 2022 – Grechetto, Colli Martani DOC

The nose is fresh, mineral, racy and offers a fine incisive / frank side. It reveals notes of fresh zest, crispy white peach and small notes of fresh small fruits associated with a discreet hint almost acacia flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, tension, a slightly tight grain as well as a little pulpy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of lemon, pulpy/juicy mandarin and small notes of juicy/tangy peach associated with touches of crunchy small white fruits as well as a subtle hint of fresh hazelnut and an imperceptible hint of ripe almond. Good length. A very discreet hint of good bitterness in the background. A subtle sapidity on the persistence.
