Romana, Château La Renaissance 2022 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, precise and offers a fine velvety grain, fresh and spicy. It reveals notes of ripe wild blackberry, fleshy wild blackcurrant and small notes of spices, nutmeg associated with a fine hint of smoke and hints of liquorice stick. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, accuracy, acidity, vibrancy, a certain purity. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy blackcurrant and small notes of violet, associated with touches of fresh/crunchy blueberry, a hint of small crunchy red berries, lily, liquorice stick. Roundness and fat in the mouth, fleshiness and a certain creaminess. The finish is sapid.
