The nose is fruity, aromatic and quite intense. It reveals notes of wild strawberry, redcurrant, flowers (violet, hawthorn) and cassis associated with a very discreet hint of rose as well as a hint of zan and tobacco. The palate is fruity, mineral, silky, voluminous, ample, well-defined and offers gourmandize, a beautiful acid frame as well as suavity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of gourmand strawberry, blueberry, plum and slight hints of fleshy red cherry associated with a hint of liquorice, flowers (hawthorn, hint of rose) as well as a discreet touch of vanilla on the finish. Tannins are slightly dusty. Good length.
