Roland Tissier et Fils Tradition 2023 – Sancerre

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The first nose is lemony, tangy and expresses notes of lemon, grapefruit and green apple. After aeration, we find aromas of acacia, limestone, dry stone and a touch of iodine in the background, associated with a tangy hint of gooseberry and a herbaceous touch of blackcurrant leaf. The palate expresses freshness and lively acidity from the attack – we find the flavors of lemon, grapefruit and tangy green plum. In the mid-palate, they are complemented by limestone, iodine and floral notes (acacia, apple blossom), as well as gourmet touches of white peach and tangy apricot. Good length with salivating acidity, the juiciness of stone fruit and a bitter hint of grapefruit. Precision and typicity.
