Rocca Maura Cuvée « 1922 » 2023 – Côtes du Rhone

The wine has a ruby ​​color of medium intensity. The nose is lively, fruity and tangy, with a touch of pepper. It expresses notes of tangy strawberry, fresh raspberry, bigarreau cherry, a hint of morello cherry and blackcurrant, as well as black pepper and a very delicate aroma of peony in the background. The palate offers a peppery and slightly bitter attack, a light and airy texture and very soft, even imperceptible tannins. The mid-palate expresses fruitiness (notes of fresh strawberry, crushed raspberry, morello cherry, bigarreau cherry and tangy blackcurrant), but all in lightness. The acidity is refreshing and salivating, the finish is moderately persistent.
