The nose is elegant, aromatic / charming and offers intensity as well as finesse. It reveals notes of blackberry, bigarreau cherry and small notes of small wild black berries associated with small touches of cassis acidulous candy, flowers as well as discreet hints of gray pepper, garrigue and liquorice sticks. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers a beautiful definition, precision, tension, fat as well as suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberries, fleshy cassis and small notes of small ripe / crushed wild red berries associated with touches of liquorice stick, mocha, toasted / roasted oak as well as slight hints of chocolate / vanilla (in the background). Tannins are well-built and young. Good length. Very discreet chew on the finish. There are a hint of black olive, grilled oak and a very discreet hint of coffee on the finish / persistence.
