The nose is relatively fruity and quite powerful. It reveals notes of boysenberry and cassis associated with slight notes of plum, raspberry jam, touches of spices as well as a discreet hint of flowers and a very discreet hint of tea. The palate is fruity, fine, well-balanced, quite elegant an offers a small fleshy, a slight acid frame as well as a slight smooth. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of plum, blackberry and slight notes of ripe redcurrant/cherry associated with a hint of zan, tobacco, toasted oak and a discreet hint of vanilla. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. There is gourmandize on the finish and the aftertaste.
